Never missing a moment, Megan moved to London at 16 from Wakefield, West Yorkshire to pursue a career within fashion at London College of Fashion, UAL. Surrounded by the influence of local artists as a child; Megan was drawn to the form alike to Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore who both explore the form through physical interpretations. Experimentation being a strength throughout her work, a daringness to make playful mistakes runs throughout – delving into this whilst studying by taking on the challenge of capturing collections live at London Fashion Week.
Now a regular at the fashion weeks spanning Europe her live sketches have secured her collaborations and invites to the likes of Loewe, Joseph, Moynat, Marques Almeida, Issey Miyake and Paul Smith. Engaging with the atmosphere, mood and emotion shown throughout the collection through a simplistic line and watercolour depiction. Working alongside editors from around the world, creating a viewpoint of the next seasons trends from a different angle. Throughout her small time working professionally Megan has worked on projects with Swarovski, Hearst Publications and Westfield to name a few.
